Our Bright Start Sports teachers and coaches can provide regular PE classes, one-off specials, before, after school and lunch time clubs.

Lessons will be tailored to meet your nursery/ school’s needs; we love to teach a different sport each week but also enjoy seeing children make progress in a particular sport or activity. We therefore offer a huge range, from year 6 netball clubs to nursery multi sports.  

Our lessons will engage and challenge children from pre-school through to year 6. Through games, drills and play children will develop fundamental motor skills including balance, strength, coordination, and agility. Sports specific skills will be introduced, developed, and refined as children progress through the classes. They will learn how to play with consideration for themselves and others, they will have the opportunity to develop teamwork skills as they problem solve in groups, their confidence will grow as they become familiar with a range of sports and equipment, and most importantly we hope to instil a love for sport and physical activity.

All classes, whether it be a timetabled lesson, or an extra curricula club will be led by myself (Amy) a highly experienced PE teacher or by Lisa, an equally highly experienced primary school teacher. We are both passionate about sport and instilling a love for sport in those we teach. Our lessons reinforce Early Years Foundation Stage physical activity guidelines and complement the Key Stage 1 and 2 PE national curriculum.  

Bright Start Sports sessions are an ideal way to use your Sports Premium budget to introduce children to a huge variety of different sports and activities, so they can discover what they love to play the most!

As teachers we understand the demands on your time, and therefore make the process of setting up classes and clubs as easy as possible. Classes and clubs can either be booked and paid for by the school, or you can give your parents the option to pay and book their child onto a breakfast or after school club at your school using our website. Both booking methods require minimal extra workload for the school.  

All Bright Start Staff are enhanced DBS checked, first aid and safeguarding trained.
